Somehow we managed to go on vacation for Yom Kippur

To add good to more good, I managed to plan a 4 day trip to Greece! Not only that, by my very good friend Sarah, aka Fischy, met me there because she is abroad in Prague for the semester. Long story short, I love Greece and can’t wait to go back. We flew into Athens late Thursday night (got in at 3am) and spent the whole next day sightseeing around town. Lots of major cities in Europe have Hop-on-Hop-off tour buses, which you can buy a day ticket for. They take you to all the major sights, you “hop off”, and every half hour another one comes for you to “hop on”.  It’s pretty pretty convienant for people who don’t know there way around and don’t have much time. We took the bus to the Parthanon, Acropolis, Zeus’s temple, and the Ancient Agora.

Athens was a fun city but by that evening we were definitely very excited to get on our ferry to Mykonos. The pictures below are what happens when I'm early for a departure...which doesn't happen. Yoga around the world.

The rest of the trip turned out to be a needed vacation. We spent the next few days on the beach with a few nude companions, eating delicious Greek food, singing along to show tunes at a gay piano bar, testing our ATV skills, taking unexpected, unplanned, yet breath taking hikes, and wondering the narrow paths of central Mykonos. I loved being with my buddy Fischy and exploring a place I never thought I would actually have a chance to go to so soon.
